Holiday
and Winter fun.

Getting
ready for the Holidays can be lots of fun. Looking for
the perfect wreath, tree, and gifts for family and
friends.

We
also like to collect things to give to the less
fortunate and pass them out to the different charities
that need our help all year round and especially at
Christmas time.

Then we
decorate the house to look really festive this time of
year.

And have
snowball fights outdoors. And then, since we are still
dressed warm, we go door to door and sing Carols to get
our whole neighborhood in the Christmas spirit.

We
love ice skating and sledding. Do you have a snowboard?
That's real popular now too.

And it's
always fun building a snowman. Have you ever made a snow
pet? A dog or a cat or a bird? How about a fort?
They come in handy during snowball fights.

Did you know
that Teddy, Bandy and the rest of the gang all stand
outside on Christmas Eve by our lit Christmas Tree and
wait for Santa to pick them up just around dusk. The
whole gang travels with Santa every year to help him
deliver his toys. They take along extra hot chocolate
and cookies just in case they don't find enough at the
houses they visit. After all, our Bears and Bandy
number over 50 now, so that's a lot of cookies and hot
chocolate to go around.

They love
helping Santa deliver the toys to all the good little
Girls and Boys. I'll bet you are being especially good
right around now too huh!

The
"Gang" get to go back to Santa's home at the
North Pole after all deliveries have been made and there
is a grand party with all the reindeer and elves and
Mrs. Santa too. Needless to say that by the time they
all return home, we find them all tuckered out in the
living room.

They don't
open their presents until about noon when they finally
wake up. Then they tell us about their adventures of the
night before and how much fun they had visiting each and
every child in the world.

So look out
your window on Christmas Eve night and see if you can
spot them flying through the air with Santa. If you see
someone waving at you from the back of Rudolph, it is
most likely Bandy since he just can't sit still in the
sleigh. And don't be surprised if you see a certain
little bear sitting on Santa's lap with the reins in his
paws. Teddy just loves to "drive".

The
Gift of Friendship
Friendship
is a priceless gift that cannot be bought or sold,
But its
value is far greater than a mountain made of gold -
For
gold is cold and lifeless, it can neither see nor hear,
And in
the time of trouble it is powerless to cheer -
It has
no ears to listen, no heart to understand
It
cannot bring you comfort or reach out a helping hand -
So when
you ask God for a gift, be thankful if He sends
Not
diamonds, pearls or riches, but the love of real true
friends.
